I’ve got a confession to make: I don’t really like fashion! There, I said it! I love clothes, all the individuals pieces and accessories that make up individual Style, but the way fashion and trends are now, so very mass market ( and really expensive!!), it’s not what motivates me anymore. That said, there are trends that I’ve embraced with all my heart; the slip dress, (since the 90’s), the mocassin, square-heeled sandals, the Chanel 2.55 bag, classic watches and a few others. But then they become part of my style lexicon, the way I choose to express myself on a particular day.
A while ago, before it became sort of trendy, I fell in love with pyjama dressing. I loved the ease with which a woman could look great without trying too hard. I suppose that’s my ambition, to look amazing with no real effort! Ha, ha, ha! It gets harder as you age, you know, I digress..
So I decided to design my own pyjama collection . Here it is, the PJ’s by The Life Juice collection.
The Harlequin print, in pinks, oranges and reds.
Designed to be seasonless, timeless, just a part of your everyday wear, or else for a more dressed occasion, add more stuff; heels, jewellery and lipstick! These are the prints, some louder than others, some more classic, but all are the perfect go-to outfit to look pulled together efortlessly.
The showstopper, the Leopard print with red piping. Slinky Snake print, casual, timeless. The Balinese print, only one left, dress it up or down. The Ikat pyjama, with her friend, the African print. Details are so important…
Mix and match with jeans, dresses, over anything really, just add a dose of glamour.
The colours of the season… Ethnically speaking, this multicolour print rocks my world. The Coral print, perfect for any event. Lounging around at the Vintage Department in Comporta. The Stargazer print, as trustworthy as your denims.
If you need any more info, just drop me a line, and we can talk about it together, you own stylist on hand!
Have a great week,
