I’m a beauty junkie as I really think the right products, applied in a conscious way, with a healthy lifestyle, truly make a difference. There’s not a pharmacy in Outer Mongolia I wouldn’t visit to get the lowdown on the local beauty habits. Here are some of mine…
The Jade Roller, have you tried it?
I’ve got one, ( bought it in Vietnam this summer), and I love it! At night, after putting on my serums, I gently roll it over my face, whilst already in bed, and then put on my face cream. It eases tension, promotes circulation and generally awakens your skin. I used to put in the fridge, but then forgot about it completely at night. If you wake up puffy, with fluid retention , I would suggest that you pop it in the fridge at night and use it on face face to de-puff in the morning. Get it here, on Amazon.

My recipe for a quick Banana Loaf, so easy it takes 10 minutes to make. And it’s contains no flour or fats.
Combine in a food processor :
- 3 ripe bananas, 2 cups of oats, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 3 tablespoons of maple syrup or agave and 2 eggs.
- If you have on hand the following, then add it all as it elevates the simple banana loaf into something special.
- A handful of raisins, orange zest, gated coconut, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla essence, and voilá, a little extra boost.
- Blend together and place in a greased loaf tin , bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 c until cooked through.
- Cool and EAT!
Have a fabulous week,
