Here in Lisbon it’s such a glorious Autumn that it feels more like Spring, with no wind this week and temperatures around 20 C, it’s hard to know what exactly to wear (sandals?), or cook (still salads? but feel like pasta!), sweaters or coats?
Maybe just coffee and macarons will do the trick!
We don’t officially celebrate Halloween in Portugal, but there is merchandise in all the local shops, like at Tiger and there are a couple of Halloween themed parties around. I’ve always wanted to throw a proper Halloween party inspired by the master of themed parties herself, the great Martha Stewart, that has the most inspiring ideas.
This what I feel like wearing this weekend, even if it’s not cold enough…
Sweater, Isabel Marant
Leather pants, in my favourite colour, A.W.A.K.E.
And these must-have booties, Aquazzura
Olive Oil Cake with Fresh Berries
Make a cake, invite friends over, eat, live and laugh! This one seems so easy, we all have these ingredients at home, that I’m going to try it too. The recipe I found on goop, and it’s a sweet/savoury dense cake. I’m sure you can serve it with Greek yoghurt on the side too…
And last but least, inspiring home makeovers, don’t you just love the before and after? Just in time for autumn, change or add w Get inspiration from AD here.
